Jumping on the Twitter band wagon

Hey Indie Nation,

You may have noticed that we've opened up an account to give this whole Twitter thing a try. Our latest Tweets are over in the sidebar and we invite you to follow us to keep up-to-date on the latest posts and podcasts here on IndieSF.com.

We hear this Facebook thing is pretty big too. Become an IndieSF fan at our page over there

Buy Your Fave Indie Music Here....

Hey Indie Nation,

when you hear something ya like on Indiesf.com, you should know that you can easily locate and purchase songs and full cd's by just clicking on the MORE button in the Recently Played window up in the top right corner of the site. You will then see the BUY button next to every song played in the last couple hours and, boom, you're there. If you cant locate a song or cd to purchase (cuz we do play some weird out of print stuff) then hit me with an email:

sam@indiesf.com

Have you spread Indie today?

We rely on word of mouth to get the word out (in lieu of an actual advertising budget). Seeing even a small bump in our listenership daily makes us smile around here so please share Indie with your friends near and far. Chances are your friends afar dont have anything remotely as listenable. Hell, share it with someone you dont really like...maybe they will get the hint and start using deo again...wait...where was I ?

Oh yeah, vote Quimby!

Brand New Site!

Thanks to the herculean efforts of Chad Kieffer and the 2tbsp.com team, we've got a new web site up!

In addition to giving us a fresh look and feel (my design skills are somewhat lacking in case you hadn't noticed!), we've got tons of great functionality.

  • You can now buy the music you hear from our great playlist!
  • You can connect with us and the listener community around the world via blogs!
  • We've got a much nicer Events Calendar that we'll be filling out soon

Please recognize that this is all new, and still has places to "fill in the gaps". We'll get there, but please let us know what you think.

Send compliments *only* to Chad!

Thanks for listening!

Rich, the IT Guy
