Hey Indie Nation,

Just catching up here on a Monday morning and saw this sad note (quoted from the AP):

**Updated...Speaking of RADIOHEAD - new ep out Monday..??

Hey Indie Nation,

While there was no full ep news this morning concerning RADIOHEAD and that leaked track last week, they have claimed ownership of the tune "These Are My Twisted Words" (who else could it have been) and it can now be downloaded with artwork thru the band (We have been playing it since last Friday). I pulled this bit off of the Pitchfork site:

So far no there's no Wall Of Ice EP, but Radiohead's confirmed that "These Are My Twisted Words" is a new track and have given it a proper release.  Jonny (Greenwood) offers some background on the song and a few words about the future:

RIP (another?!) - Les Paul

The Associated Press reports that the pioneering guitarist and inventor Les Paul died today in White Plains, New York of complications from pneumonia. He was 94. Though he accomplished many remarkable things during his long lifetime, Paul's biggest legacy remains his creation of the Les Paul model guitar.

John Hughes - Thank You....

Bueller? Bueller?

We usually will post a  quick note when we lose someone from the world of music but, in this case, John Hughes had such GOOD TASTE in music, we wanted to bow down to the man who made some of the films that we Gen X'ers STILL talk about today. In his honor, we pulled out Pretty In Pink and showed it to our tween - he thought Duckie was the bomb.
