i was so aghast when i heard that indie 101.5 was being bought out that i went home and called the station to express my outrage and ask what i could do to help. i left a message on the station's number, and sam ferrara called me back within an hour, which was very cool. he told me to call ellie, and i did so- she answered the phone from home--how dedicated is THAT? these people are so awesome.

i have been listening to this station for over a year, and it saves my commute and my sanity. i told ellie that i have bought at *LEAST* 20 entire records based on songs i heard on indie, and love every song on them. she said, "oh, that's all sam, thank him, not me". so -- thanks, sam. you rock.

but hey you santa fe indie 101.5 listeners--- let's come up with ways to help save this station from corporate privatization hell!! this is worth some extra effort on the part of the audience, isn't it???? i'm game-- are you?
