Hey Indie Nation,

Some of you already know I am off on vacation but, before I split, I was in the audience for Laurie Anderson at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins last Saturday night the 6th for her touring retrospective, Burning Leaves. Almost as good as the show was spotting Lou Reed in the back load-in area of the venue doing Tai Chi. Yep, true story, as I pulled into the side parking lot of the venue to see if there a spot close-up and, instead, see Lou Reed doing a little Tai Chi (with what looked like a broom handle). I quickly scrambled to park the car across the street and then ran back up to this rear area and watched him from a distance deemed far enough to not seem like I was intruding (but a small crowd was already gathered so I didn't feel like a total geek). What a night - Laurie Anderson and hubby in my hood.
