**Updated**Johnny Cash and Weekend of 1.17 programming....
Hey Indie Nation,
Been holding on to this Johnny Cash Folsom Prison special since before the holidays and will run it again for ya this Wednesday night at 7p following the replay of Off The BeatnTrack at 6pm mtn time. The infamous Folsom Prison show was re-released late last year on both remastered cd along with the whole performance on DVD (if you shell out $$ for the deluxe package). The making of Folsom Prison is hosted by Rodney Crowell and features a bunch of music from the show and interviews with folks that were there. Again, we will replay the Johnny Cash special this Weds night at 7p forllowing the replay of Off The BeatnTrack at 6p.
We have Something Different on Sunday nights at 6 hosted by our old pal DJ "Dave" Santo. Santo was instrumental in helping me to build the blu radio library when I was there and continues to turn us on to Indie artists like Sharon Jones, The BPA, and The Notwist. Santo landed his own program on a northwestern public radio station where he features 3 hours of the best in nujazz, chill, electro, and the like.

Indie 103.1
January 15th, 2009 at 7:41 pm — samI saw this story first thing this morning. they have posted a declaration on their website explaining the station managements decision to pull the pioneering station off the air (replacing it with yet another spanish language station I understand) and the programming staff deciding to keep it alive as an internet station. Welcome to the party.
