Most indie music fans in New Mexico have already heard about the tragic fire that destroyed the historic Golden West Saloon and damaged the El Rey Theatre and Launchpad. When I heard the news reports my heart just sunk. 

One cool thing in times like these is seeing what folks do to help out. Several venues are stepping up to host shows affected. Check out the Launchpad's site to see what's happening with upcoming shows. The El Rey, understandably, hasn't posted any Golden West show updates yet.
