Hey Indie Nation,

The landmark in jazz recordings, Kind Of Blue, officially turned 50 this last week. We also lost George Russell recently, the man who set Miles Davis to "coloring outside the lines". We rebroadcast the 'Making Of Kind Of Blue' special over the weekend but it is still one of nearly a hundred podcasts you can listen to OR download off our site - just go to the right there and start perusing (almost every Independent Get Down is there).  Speaking of the I G D, last Fridays is already for you to listen to OR download along with the John Hughes inspired show from 2 weeks ago (its the one labeled Weird Science - duh).
